At Ravelinen you get cuisine with strong ideals. First and foremost, we place emphasis on the practiced animal-welfare from our suppliers. We believe that a healthy, happy animal is a priority when it comes planning our menu’s. Therefore our purchasing of our cow’s, pig’s and marsk lambs enjoy their life in free surroundings. Several of our raw materials are organic. and as often as possible, come from Denmark. Not that it necessarily makes the product better, but because it reduces the energy used in transportation. Our most important commodity is our chefs. Here we employ fresh professionals and individuals who have the pride to create and cook the delicious menu’s which are both tempting to the eye and pleasurable to the pallet. Ravelinen is situated in a Scenic area of central Copenhagen.
The fact the we are only 1600 meters from City Hall Square and only 300 meters from Christianshavn Metro station and still maintain an air of rural tranquility is a rare commodity and keeps us unrivalled by other city restaurants. Opening hours

We’re open daily from 11.30am til 9.00pm.    

Online booking:

We now boast to be one of the few restaurants in Denmark offering a booking system through bordreservations. A system where you can book up to 24 hours in advance, online.
Once you book you will get a delayed confirmation of the reservation or a suggested alternative date where there is vacancy.

Newsletters:

As a new service, we will keep our customers informed of further developments or events at Ravelinen via our electronic newsletter. We will continue to hold different and exciting culinary events which will be announced in this newsletter.

Facts:

We offer seating for 360 guests. 275 of which are situated outside with an electronic controllable roof. The garden is divided into sections, all with fantastic views. We also provide two cozy indoor pavilions which can be used all year round.
We accept all popular credit cards. A parking lot in front of the restaurant is reserved for the restaurant's guests. And there will at some point be set a P-operated machine. We also have the facilities to provide both Stage and dance floor opportunities and also microphone installation.

We extend season:

We traditionally open the restaurant on the Queen's birthday, The 16th of April where we remain open daily right up to Christmas. Lunch Service is provided between 11.30am and 5.30pm while our evening service begins at 5.30pm until 10pm or 8pm in the winter season.

Smoking

Parts of Ravelinen are in the open where smoking is permitted.
All other area’s  are smoke-free zones.
