With a scenic view over the lakes, Restaurant Ravelinen on Christianshavn changes the scene of it’s summer restaurant
to turn it in to the most welcoming of festive locations.
We offer Traditional Danish food of a high quality, This means
that everything right down to the last detail is homemade with
raw ingredients. No jars or bottles allowed!!!
 

Now for the entertainment !
Every Friday up to Christmas, Lars le dous, (Famous from the Danish Radio Sunday satire show). Will be presenting Richard Dreions survival course including his indoor bunjee jump!!!! He will have the guest’s taking part in a show that’s hilariously funny and unforgettable.

When the laughter stops our talented four man orchestra with twenty years of experience will set the atmosphere. Let’s get ready to party!
The Cities most rural restaurant is Ravelinen. We are only one hundred meters from the metro station and yet we are renowned for our sheer beauty in the summer and our romantic ambience in the winter.
We seat between fifteen and three hundred and sixty guests. And we are always ready will open arms.
If you wish for a function at a location of your own choosing, then we would be happy to deliver. Including, food, drinks, chefs, waiters and tableware.

Christmas buffet:
  • Marinated herring with onions and capers
  • Curry marinated herring with onions and capers
  • Plaice fillet med remoulade dressing
  • Smoked Scottish salmon with scrambled egg
  • Greenlandic prawns with mayonnaise
  • Warm liver pate with bacon and mushrooms 
  • Traditional Danish Christmas sausage with pickled cucumber
  • Roast pork with crackling and red cabbage
  • Roasted duck breast with prunes and apple
  • Mixed salad with two types of dressing
  • Pasta salad with broccoli, apple, honey and sweet chili
  • Two types of home baked cake with fruit coulis 
  • Traditional Danish rice pudding with whipped cream, almonds and  warm cherry sauce

After dinner we will serve a coffee and tea buffet (ad libitum).

During the entire function we will serve beer, wine and soft drinks (ad libitum). Red and white wine, pilsner, Tuborg Christmas beer and soft drinks until 01:45am

Cover price for a Friday function including welcome drink, Christmas buffet, Drinks, (as mentioned) entertainment and music: 820 Dkr

Cover price for all other days including welcome drink, Christmas buffet, coffee, entertainment and live music: 298 Dkr

Supper:
All you can eat hotdog stand with all accompaniments. Price pr. person: 50 Dkr.
We also offer both both traditional and chicken hotdogs

Practical information:
Those who already frequent the restaurant will know of our wonderful garden and how we offer sheltered roofing and isolation. We will lay isolated flooring and heat the entire garden. The function will start at 18:30 and finish at two in the morning, Where the restaurant will close.
The mentioned prices are including tax, table cloths, napkins, Christmas decorations, entertainment and live music.
The cloakroom will be staffed during the entire function with the price per item of 15 Dkr.
After the booking we will send you confirmation and you will be charged a booking fee of 200 Dkr per cover.
If the final number of guests is less than the arranged booking, You will be refunded 50% of the deposit per cover. E.G: Two covers less than booked = 200 Dkr returned.
(up to 10 days before the function).
You will pay 50% of the cover price per cancellation if the number of guests are reduced later than 10 days before the function.
You will pay 75 % of the cover price per cancellation if the number of guests are reduced later than 4 days before the function.
You will pay full cover price per cancellation if the number of guests are reduced later than 2 days before the function.
If you are more than expected we will of course try and make that happen but with no guarantee’s.
